- Create a new document 1600* 1200 px, resolution 72 px/inch.
- Fill first layer with white color.
- Apply Gradient Overlay effect, just like in the examples below.
- Place night sky image into a new layer. Apply Auto Levels and Auto Contrast to it.
- Choose Screen Blending Mode and Opacity 70%.
- Erase central part of the sky using big soft brush.
- Make sky layer monochromatic.
- Place Earth planet image into a new layer.
- Apply Inner Shadow and Outer Glow effects to the planet.
- Paste Moon picture, apply Auto Levels and Auto Contrast settings to it.
- Choose Screen Blending Mode.
- Add Outer Glow effect.
- Paste white clouds image. Set Auto Levels and Auto Contrast.
Separate clouds from background.
- Go to Channels palette.
- Select Green channel.
- Duplicate it.
- Make it more contrast using Levels.
- Choose Image > Adjustments > Levels.
- Move left and right markers to the center a little bit.
- Load selection for Green Channel.
- Keep selection, Activate RGB Channel and return to Layers palette.
- Add Layer Mask to Sky layer.
- Apply Screen Blending Mode.
- Correct clouds shape using Warp transformation.
- You should get something like this.
- Duplicate clouds layer, change Screen Blending Mode on Linear Dodge(add). Opacity 20%.
- Create shade from clouds.
- Load selection for clouds.
- Fill selection with black color in a new bottom layer.
- Move shade layer a little bit and reduce it size using Free Transformation.
- Set Fill = 0%. Erase superfluous areas of the shade around planet.
- Apply Gradient Overlay to shade layer.
- Create circle, Fill =0%.
- Apply radial Gradient Overlay effect.
- Merge circle layer with other empty layer.
- Transform created layer. Use Distort transformation.
- Erase bottom part of the rainbow.
- Duplicate rainbow layer.
- Choose Screen Blending Mode and Opacity 25% for one of them.
- For another one choose Lighten Blending Mode and Opacity 75%.
- Place tree image into a new layer.
- Rotate and transform it.
- Add some red apples.
- Insert more clouds images around the tree. Separate them from background just like in the previous steps using Channel Palette.
- Insert into a new layer a peace of grass.
- Transform it using Arc Warp transformation
- Duplicate grass layer many times.
- You should get something like grass circle.
- Duplicate grass circle and reduce it size like in the screen shot below.
- Erase superfluous areas.
